How can I relieve anxiety?


Issue
I have anxiety about beginning a new job. I also want to think about having a baby sooner or later and don't want to take medication but am afraid that maybe I need something. I just moved to a new area and my new doctor advises me not to take a medication if I want to get pregnant in the near future. I am on the depressed side and anxious about working and maybe some other things. How can I calm myself down and become motivated to be a functioning person?

start doing yoga evry morning.u can either join a group. or buy a self study book.but i would advice consulting a doctor first becoz i thnk there r certain things in yoga that u shouldnt do if u have a back problem.but yoga is a super stress buster.do try it.get more sleep.drink more water.talk to friends.
See psychiatrist (specialist) and discuss options. Get one that works with you not against you.

Try square breathing!!! When you get anxiety or are feeling stressed close your eyes, breath in to the count to 5, hold your breath and count to 5, breath out while counting to 5, and hold to the count of 5.
If this is not enough or too much you can lower or raise the count, (count in your mind)

Do this several times, it relaxes your body....

No, do not take any medicine now. I had an anxiety attack for the 1st time while I was 9 months pregnant and then, a year later, with added on stress from job and family I just couldn't take it anymore. So I went to the doctor. Just put candles up or soak. You may have to see a doctor for medicine after the baby is born. At times, depending on your stress level you may not be able to control it. I would sugest eleminating the stressful people and things out of your life one by one. Whether it is your job, your health and your friends move on and be happy with yourself.
