Issue I keep getting this reoccuring sore in my butt crack, what could this be caused from?? Best Tip if it's in the same spot all the time and you've had it a very long time then get an appointment with your dermatologist. I don't know what your habits are so I can't say maybe it was from not cleaning properly, whether it was from perspiration, from perspiration plus the bleach or tide not being removed properly (not enough rinsing), or from using polyester underwear where the body can't breathe, or from how you sleep at night (on your back). You'll have to ask the dermatologist. Others Picking your butt, imbecile. Hemmhoroid if it's down low. Up high it may be dry skin and/or poor hygiene causing inflammation. Make sure you keep it clean after pooping. Try and wash it with water and soap after pooping, if you don't shower everyday. It's the same thing that happens to kids where it's known as diaper rash. It's really poop-stuck-on-your-crack rash. Sexually transmitted infections can cause sores in this area. A common cause of soreness there is inadequate hygiene - wash the area at least 2x daily. This can reduce the risk of a pilonidal sinus, which can cause a lot of pain, and often requires surgical treament.
