Should a person with Bipolar Disorder be able to use marijuana without encountering psycheffects? |
Issue Should a person with Bipolar Disorder be able to use marijuana without encountering psycheffects? Best Tip Pot is counterintuitive for a person that is Bipolar. The use of pot will only make the differences in mood swings more extreme, therefore causing the depressive affect to be more depressing than they normally are for the body eventually will cut back on its on dope making chemicals,i.e. l - dopa. this could cause the body to begin to rely on a synthetic source for l-dopa (dope) Others stupid pothead druggie if the person is bipolar, then it is strongly reccommended to keep them away from any hallucinogenic or mind altering drug because who knows what the effect of marijuana could have on the persons mind. Very, very bad idea to use any drugs other psychoactive drug or alcohol unless prescribed by a *psychiatrist*. Its hard enough for the shrink to get you stable. Don't screw it up!! I am B/P and would suggest not smoking pot at all. Get high on life. I quit drinking 20 years ago and pot as well. It is not a good idea. Stay on any meds. the doctor puts you on, and let him or her know of any type of side effects. |
