Issue Because of my medication i suffer with bad constipation, i eat prunes and cook chilli with lots of kidney beans and that helps, but im getting a little fed up with these. Can anyone recommend a food that'll help me ??. Best Tip I have some of the same issues. For me the more water I drink the better. Take your weight divide it by two then the number you come up with, drink that many ounces a day. For example I'm 120 so I drink 60 ounces of water a day. If you really hate water do tea, but avoid artificial sweeteners, or anything that isn't a natural ingredient because your body won't get as much liquid out of it if it's processing all of the extra ingredients. It sucks at first, but then after a couple days to a week you'll get used to it. Also look for foods high in fiber. All Bran products are actually quite tasty, Activia yogurt helps your digestive system, and pears are really high in fiber. Also if you go to any pharmacy, or even Walmart you can get Acidophiles, a natural enzyme that really helps my stomach, it certainly wouldn't hurt to try it. Try to eat more all natural foods. Hope these help! Others Cut meat out of your diet, or severely limit your intake. Also, lots of veggies and fruit for snacking instead of chips and beer. Eat lots of fruit and veg First try beano... Then Find some way to get The Sh!ts. That should solve it spinach is a great natural laxative, or you can get special laxative medicine like Milk of Magnesia to ease constipation Drink the orange metamucil. My mom does and likes it. They also have chocolate and with milk it is great but has even less fiber. Eat all the fruits and veggies you can and drink lots. A lot of constipation is because people don't drink enough. No matter how many beans you eat, you need the water to flush you out. don't laugh chocolate i cant eat the stuff as it goes straight through me and shreddies and fish. Sorry to hear about your constipation right pain try lots of bran good luck honey |
