My eye doctor gave me new contact lenses to try and now my eyes really hurt....? |
Issue She thought it would be a good idea for me to try Optix2 made of silicone last night. This afternoon during lunch my eyes started burning and the minute I got back to the office I took them out and put them back right before I left so I could drive home (my eyes are pretty bad, -6.00). I just took them back out and my eyes are really burning me. I am putting cold compress on them but that doesn't seem to help enough. Is there anything else I can do to help relieve the pain? Best Tip try soaking the lenses in contact solution. i use that brand and i can't use them the first day i get them, as the lenses are so firm and i have really sensitive eyes... maybe taking a warm shower will help, due to the steam? umm.... sorry i don't really know how else to hope! hope your eyes feel better soon! Others Use an eye rinse. try a diff kind Wash your eyes out with cool or lukewarm water. Don't put your contacts in. Wear your glasses until you talk to your doctor. my mom Don't put the contacts back. Call your eye doctor first thing in the morning and wear glasses (hope you have a backup pair) until you see the doc!! So sorry for you. go back to your doctor... it may cause some serious problem... |
