Why can't we get a flu shot!?

Every year the governmental agencies that are 'in charge' of such issues post warnings that we should all have a flu vaccination. However, upon seeking such vaccinations, I have been repeatedly refused care! I have 2 children and neither has ever had a flu shot and I cannot even obtain one for myself, even though I have an auto immune disease and subsequently undergo immune altering therapy routinely. Is this just a load of **** the government is feeding us to get us worried or what? This year's vaccine report says there is enough to go around but we are still getting a runaround! I am more than a little concerned here.

one of the possible reasons for the run around is that most offices are getting the vaccines right around this week. you can try the cdc website for latest recommendations on who should and who should not get the flu shot, if your doctors office still doesn't give you and your kids one each then you need a new doctor, and you should then call the state health dept for reporting, good luck

I am not sure why you have been refused. Have you tried your health department? Usually they give the first batch of shots to the elderly and those who have had serious bouts with the flu and pneumonia.
