*Health Issues>>>Other-Health issues>>>Something under my skin, how do I get this out? |
Issue A month ago I stepped on something in my house. It never bled but now it looks like there might be something inside the ball of my foot. I can actually see something dark inside it. It is on the outside of my foot where a callus has always been so I didn't notice it much until a week ago when it started to hurt. Any tips on softening this callus and getting the foreign object out? Best Tip Soften the callus by soaking the foot in hot bath then remove overlying skin with file or abrasive callus remover. Advise against using a razor. When foreign body is exposed, try teasing it out with a flame sterilized needle or tweezers. Dress open wound with antiseptic and band-aid. Source(s): Medical school Others i think you should call your doctor and let them get it out soak it in a warm tub and try to pop it like a zit. gross, i know. Then use some hydrogen peroxide on it. Get a warm rag, or soak in a hot tub, take a needle, and pop the cyst, then squeeze until it comes out, or grab a pair of tweezers, and pull out your object, then treat with peroxide, wipe dry, then put neosporin on it, and cover with a bandade. eww. go to the doctor. You have had a tetanus shot, right? |
