Why do spicy foods make your butt hurt?

Does anyone have a scientific explanation as to why spicy foods make your butt burn when you poop? I need some info for a paper I am writing for science class. Thanks!

hey man,i live in Thailand and i eat spicy food all the time sometimes hotter than the Thais themselves.my secret is eat cold fruit after you have eaten your food it works
