I think i cut my self bad?

I cut my hand today and it will not stop bleeding
I live 3 hours away from a hospital What can i do Im running out of towles

Hold up. You have a cut that won't stop bleeding and your first reaction is to come on Yahoo Tips to ask a question like this? I'd like to think that you'd call an ambulance if you can't get yourself there on your own rather than posting a question when you can easily be in a high risk situation.

apply lots of pressure and call the police or fire department, there must be someone in your vicinity who can help. If all else fails, maybe a vet can sew it closed.
Ok to start, you are an idiot. Self harm is never the answer, so read my advice then seek some help.

Put pressure on the wound, like wrap a towel around it tightly and call an ambulance so you can get it stitched.
apply lots of pressure and get to the hospital. or tie something tightly around the nearest main vein........ and get someone to help you get to the hospital.
Get your butt to the hospital. Use common sense.
omg! i would call 911 they can get u to the hospital faster. i stabbed my hand bad but didnt go the the ER, now i wish i had. its been over a week ago and the hole is still there .
