Issue has anybody experienced a worsened headache after taking imitrex or some other migraine medicine????????? why does this happen and what should i do??? Best Tip YES!It did that to me too!The doc told how good it should have worked...but,it didn't..wait for it to ware off.Do you get a lot of headaches too?I'm on Topamax..it works pretty good..but,it has some side effects.Ask your doc about that.I'm kinda glad to hear I'm not the only one that I'mitrex did that to...im sorry to hear it also.Headaches are horrible.I can feel your pain Try to take a short nap?Sometimes that's the only thing that helps me.Good luck..I hope that imitrex wears off quickly..stupid stuff. Others i have taken that plenty of times it always works for me maybe u should talk to you doctor ask the dr for a stronger pain medication. I got a far worse headache from Imatrex. I can't tell you why, just that it happened to me, too. Yes I've tired I don't like it. I heard that Ginger helps. I tried that one and it didn't work. Now I'm taking Rizatripan it works great and no side effects. It costs about $15.cnd a pill though. Yes.... it made my migraine ten times worse. my doc switched my prescription and it works great.... Unfortunately you might have to try a few to see what works for you.... Good Luck :) |
