Yes. But also tell them that he/she may have it as well. Pretty much say, "don't be alarmed, most adults have it, but I want you to know that I have CMV." End of story. If they don't want you at that point, they weren't worth it to begin with.
Tell your partner that you have it and that means that they are mow a carrier. Discos when you found out. Discos how you found out. Discos what it means for your future health and how it doesn't really affect your partner but can affect their later partners.

Any relationship is based on mutual trust. So you can explain to your partner about it and let him know that he or any adult could be suffering from it too.
