My 2 year old daughter has a rash all over her body?

Issue
My 2 year old daughter has a rash. It is small red bumps. I haven't noticed her scratching them and she says she isn't itchy. I also asked if her belly or throat hurt snd she says no. I haven't used any new soaps lately for her or our clothes. She did eat peanut butter yesteday and I noticed the rash after her bath. She has ate peanut butter before and I don't recall any rash. Any ideas on what it could be? The doctor isn't avaliable until monday.

Best Tip
Wow. It could honestly be any number of things. It could be a peanut allergy (they can develop after a period of time, so you may not know until she's eaten it a few times). It could be a viral, bacterial, or fungal infection. She could have eczema. It could be a heat rash or irritation to something she's come into contact with. It could even be bug bites! I recommend an oatmeal bath until you can get her into the doctor. Please do not put any sort of creams on it until you know for sure what it is. Hydrocortisone cream (usually prescribed for bug bites, eczema, etc.) can actually exacerbate a fungal infection. Because it is so unknown right now and she doesn't seem to have any other symptoms, I'd leave it alone until it can be evaluated. If she develops any breathing problems (possible allergy), call 911 ASAP. If it worsens dramatically or spreads to her face/head, I'd take her to the ER. I have little ones also, so I feel for you. Good luck!! Source(s): RN

maybe she has eaten something that she allergic too....see the doc
Listen, she COULD be having an alergic reaction, that could culminate in a breathing constriction.

Seriously, GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM NOW.

Don't think....just do it. It sucks, but its your daughter.

Go now.
try giving her a bath with 1/4 or 1/2 cup vinegar in the water (apple cider vinegar), it is very good for skin, maybe it will help clear it up.
Dont rule out measles. To be honest if the rash is all over there must be somewhere you can take her to be seen? An out of hours doctor or a&e? I wouldn't mess around with rashes and try to diagnose it yourself. Get your daughter seen to.
avoid cheese, margarines, fried food, bread, pasta & peanut butter -it is a high allergy food
avoid animals /pets n chemical products, (use only natural organic)

try olive leaf extract
and c the health food store or the herbalist for a liver cleanser for ur child
