sex and periods?

when u have sex on ur period, it wont make u pregnant right? becasue the menstrual flow makes the egg come out. ??
also does everything get all bloody when u have sex on ur period?
i know thats really gross but i was just wondering. cuz ive never done that.

Yes, it can be pretty messy. My husband and I do it all the time during my period, and it doesn't bother us, but I don't think we did before being together for a couple of years.

depends how heavy your flow is to be honest. During sexual arousal the blood is taken to others area to make your labia and uterus swell ready for potential orgasm so the flow kinda stops. On the heaviest days there may be some small amount of blood but not loads. And if you have an orgasm it can help your period pain loads- well it does mine!
